1. Construction and uses
This series of angle polishers are hand-held double insulated tools which are driven by a universal electric motor. Their speed is reduced by a pair of spiral becel gears. Their
instruments porovided are reinforced resin bond grinding wheels, the safety peripheral speed of which is 80m/sec. They can be used safety and reliably. There are a lot
of merits such as; reasonable construction, advanced technology, the dead weight of the tool is light, large output power, high rotational speed, low noise, high efficiency,
convenience for using and maintening them. These angle polishers are widely used for removing burrs of fins from metal parts, for bevelling and finishing weld seams
and for cutting thin wall tubes and small size metal materials in the fields of machine-building vehicle manufacturing, oil industries, chemical engineering, civil engineering
metallurgical etc. They are particularly useful for workpieces of bulky size and complicated configuration not allowing the use of an ordinary bench grinder. When fitted
with an appropriate instrument, sanding and polishing the surface of metal and other materials.
When the grinder leaves the factory, they have only rough grinding wheels. You can order other working head if you need.

2. Safety regulations

• The environment suited for the tools is as follows :
(1) Not higher than 1000m, above sea level.
(2) The environmemt temperature is from -15ºC to + 40ºC
(3) The relative humidity at the temperature 25ºC should not be over 90ºC
• Before operation, the tool should be checked, see whether the housing is cracked or broken, whether the wheel guard is tightly fastened and plug cord is in good
order(Operating without the wheel guard is strictly forbidden). Then turn on the switch and let the motor run idly for several minutes to made sure whether the tool
can turn freely and properly.
• The tool should be thoroughly checked every season. In addition to what has been said above, the insulation resistance should be measured and it must not be less
than 7 megohms(measured by 500 megohm meter). More attention should be paid during the rainyseason. If the tool laid aside for a long time without operating, its
insulation should be dried if the resistance is less than 7 megohms.
• Before operation of this tool, inspect the voltage of power supply, see if it conforms to the rated value. The switch should be in off~position before the play is inlet into
the socket. When power supply is cut off temporarily, the plug should be pulled out of the socket so as to avoid the tool turning unexpectedly.
• The speed of the safety coefficient of the wheel used can not be lower than 80m/s and must be undamaged, and it should have no broken sound when one knock at
it with a mallet. When it is kept for more than one year, the wheel can not be used until it is checked of its intensity of turning round.
• In using, the worker must wear the protective glasses, the grinding wheel should avoid violent shocking so as to prevent it from cracking. When the tool is operated
with a cutting disc, it is not allowed to swing the tool. The tool should be tilted 15ºC - 30ºC to the working surface in order to obtain better efficiency.
• When moving the tool, the user should hold the housing or its handle and never drag the tool by the cord.
• The cord and the plug of the tool are double insulated. Never replace them with ordinary cord. It should be protected from stabbing and breaking by sharp fins.
• The tool should be kept in environment where the air is dry, clean and free from corrosive gases. The housing of the tool is made of polycarbonate. Do not clean it with
organic solvant which is harmful to such matertial.
• Non-skilled repairing worker is forbidden to disassemble and repair the machine.
3. Maintenance
• The brushes should be checked periodically and wornout brushes should be replaced in time. After replacing, inspect whether the new brushes can move freely in the
brush holder. See the armature turn freely and properly, then let the motor run idly for 15 minutes to match the contact of the brushes and commutator.
• Keep the vent passage clear from dirt, clean off the accumulated dust and old dirt periodically.
• During normal operation, if anything unproper happens, the power supply should be cut off at once and machine should be checked and repaired by skilled and profes-
sional repairing worker.
(1) The armature gets stuck and the speed drops abnormally or the motor stops running suddenly.
(2) The tool shakes abnormally, there are some abnormal noise and odour or the motor runs too hot.
(3) Heavy sparks (>2Grade,GB755-65)or ring sparks occur.
