3. Close the battery door and wait until the
digits 0.0 are shown on the LED display.
! Caution
•
When the symbol
device will power off in 4 seconds and
you should replace the old set of batteries
with new ones. Please replace all 4
batteries at the same time. Do NOT mix
the old batteries with the new ones.
•
Worn batteries are hazardous waste. Do
NOT dispose of them together with the
household garbage.
•
If you do not intend to use this scale for a
prolonged period of time, it is advisable to
remove the batteries before storing the
device.
START MEASURING
Select measurement unit
With the batteries correctly installed, press the
Unit Button [2] at the back of the scale to
select measurement unit. The default
measurement unit is 'kg'. You may press the
Unit Button to choose between kilogram,
stone or pound.

Note
Please put the scale on a flat, hard surface
when finishing the unit selection. Wait for a
few seconds before you start measuring
according to the measuring procedure
below. If there is no activity in weighing mode
the scale will turn off after about 10 seconds.

Initialising your scale
1. Press the centre of the platform with your
foot, then remove it.
0.0 will be displayed.

3. The scale will switch off and is now ready
for use.
This initialisation process must be repeated if
the scale is moved.
At all other times, step straight onto the scale.
Start measuring
1. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface.
2. Stand on the platform directly to switch
the device on.
3. Stand still and the weight data will blink
twice before locking once the weight is
stable. The scale will then turn off after
about 10 seconds.

Warning
Remove the batteries from the device before
cleaning it!

Wipe down the surface of the device with
a slightly damp cloth and dry it out
carefully. Make sure that no liquid gets
inside the device.
•
When cleaning the device do not use any
chemicals, alkalis, abrasives or other
strong cleaning agents and disinfectants,
because they may damage the surfaces
of the device.
