It is also very important that the installer knows the characteristics of the gas supply in the installation location, consulting the
supply company and verifying that the equipment is ready for this installation.
IT IS OBLIGATORY TO MARK IN THE RATING PLATE ANY VARIATION OF REGULATION OF GAS, FOR THAT
THEY CAN USE THE STICKERS THAT ARE SUPPLIED WITH THE PLANCHA.
4.5. CONNECTION OF EQUIPMENT.
Once the gas data has been verified, the installer will take care of the connection of equipment to gas main according to the
regulations in force in the destination country, complying with at least the following requirements:
• The point of connection shall be easily accessible and will permit the free movement of tightening tools.
• The input connection must have a thread in accordance to the recommendations given in the standard ISO 228-1 or
ISO 7-1, or a plug.
• A fluid shut-off valve with male output thread must be installed from the main line.
For all models the gas input thread must allow a threaded connected to the main line in accordance to ISO 228-1 or ISO 7-1
depending on the destination country.
• The hose with the input connection to the equipment will be rigidly secured to the body of the equipment. The types
of connection that are used in different countries are indicated in table A.5.
• Flexible gas pipe must comply with specific standards and current regulations and shall be periodically examined to
determine if a replacement is necessary.
For category I3 equipment, the connection is not required to have a threaded connection or plug, it may also be made using a
tapered or smooth joint.

4.6. SMOKE EXTRACTOR CONNECTION
It is recommended that the equipment be placed beneath an extractor hood to assure the complete evacuation of the combustion
gases and burning exhausts in the cooking phase , thus avoiding the concentration of said gases, product of the combustion.
