8. Finish the wall around the plaster guard (make sure valve is at proper depth).
9. Once surrounding wall is finished, remove the plaster guard from the valve.
10. Apply a bead of silicone sealant onto the back edge of the back plate and slide into place over the cartridge
body. Using a clean rag, wipe off any excess silicone.
11. Adjust cartridge to provide desired temperature range. Turn water supply on. Turn cartridge stem until preferred
temperature is reached. This will be the temperature when the handle is vertical.
12. Now install the control handle. Loosen the set screw on the handle and place on the cartridge stem. Then
tighten the set screw using the provided wrench and place the cap cover over the screw hole.
13. To decrease the temperature rotate handle clock-wise. To increase temperature rotate handle counter clock
-wise. Once the handle has reached vertical it will hit a safety stop. You can increase the temperature past
this stop by pressing button (A) on the handle while rotating counter clock-wise.
