SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be
integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this
appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fl uctuation or the
modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a  risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2.
Never use the appliance if the power cable is damaged. All repairs including cord replacements shall
be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance,
risk of electric shock!
3.
Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric
shock.
4.
Do not use the appliance outside or in a  damp environment and do not touch the power cord or the
appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
5.
Pay closer attention when using the appliance near children.
6.
The appliance should not be left unattended when in operation.
7.
Exercise caution when handling and cleaning, avoid contact with moving parts.
8.
We recommend that you do not leave the appliance with plugged in power cable unattended. Disconnect
the cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet
by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
9.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
10. Use accessories only advised by the manufacturer, otherwise you risk losing the warranty.
11. Use this appliance only in accordance with the instructions in this manual. The appliance is designed
for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this
appliance.
12. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older if they are supervised or have been instructed
to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Cleaning and maintenance
operations performed by the user shall not be carried out by children, if they are not older than 8 years
and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power supply out of reach of children younger than
8 years. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack
of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or if they were instructed how to use the appliance
safely and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before fi rst use wash all components except the base with motor with warm water, as described in the chapter
"Cleaning". Do not use dishwasher. Then dry everything thoroughly. Never immerse the base in water.
Assembly and use of the appliance
1.
Place the base with motor 8 on an even stable surface.
2.
Put the juice container 6 on the shaft 7 of the base 8. Rotate clockwise to ensure that the container is
secured well to the base.
3.
If you press juice from lemons insert in the container an attachment as well 5 as collector of lemon
juice 4.
4.
Insert fi lter in the container 3.
5.
Put lemon press on the shaft 2. If you will press juice from large citruses insert on the little press an
adaptor for large fruit (see 9).
Do not immerse in water!
