Special Food Cooking Precautions

Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers (ex: closed glass jars) can
explode and should not be heated in this oven.
Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance.
Do not cook bacon directly on the turntable. Excessive local heating of the turntable
may cause the turntable to break.
Do not heat baby bottles or baby food in the microwave oven. Uneven heating may
occur and could cause physical injury.
Do not heat narrow-necked containers, such as syrup bottles
Do not attempt to deep-fry in your microwave oven.
Do not attempt home canning in this microwave oven, as it is impossible to be sure all
contents of the jar have reached boiling temperature.

Super-Heated Liquid Burn Hazard

A "Super-heated" liquid is any water, coffee, tea or other liquids that are heated
beyond their boiling temperature, without signs of boiling.
If you use a microwave oven to heat liquids in a clean cup or container beyond the
boiling temperature, any slight disturbance or movement may cause the "Super-
heated" non-boiling liquid to violently explode out of the container.
Super-heated liquids may develop in the oven and present a burn hazard if the following
precautions are not followed:
Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks (which can suddenly spout ejected
boiling liquid).
Do not overheat the liquid.
Stir liquid before placing the container in the oven and again halfway through cooking time.
After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short time before
removing the container.
After cooking, use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container.
Failure to heed these precautions may result in serious skin burns or scalding injuries on hands,
face, and body.
