Collapsible bed rail 1,50 m, for COMPACT beds

Read the entire instruction before assembling and installing this product.
If you sell or give away this product, make sure you give this instruction to the new owner.
Make sure that no parts are missing before fitting the rail (see parts list).
This bed rail complies with BS 7972:2001+A1:2009 - Designed in Spain - Made in China.
WARNING
1-The bedguard should not be used for children under the age of 18 months or when the child is over the age of 5 years. This
bed rail is used only when the child is able to climb in and out of bed unaided.
2-The bedguard should not be used as a substitute for a a cot, as it cannot provide the same level of safety as a cot.
3-Suitable for use with beds of the following sizes: minimum 80x190 cm and maximum: 150x200 cm. and mattress with a
thickness of between 15 to 30 cm.
4- Once installed, make sure the bed rail is correctly fitted and is secure.
5-The bedguard should not be used on a sleeping surface that is more than 600 mm from the floor. Never use on a bunk bed,
a child's bed or any other bed hat does not correspond to the present instructions.
6-To avoid risk of injury, carefully respect the present instructions when assembling, installing and using this bed rail.
7-Do not leave the child unattended while fitting or dismantling this product; the child should always be under an adult's supervision.
8-It should be checked periodically that the bed rail is always properly fitted and secure in place, and the locking mechanism on
the bedrail are securely fixed. The bedguard should be periodically checked for its general condition with particular reference
to the security of any locking mechanism and/or hinges that are used on the product.
9-Keep away from fire.
10-Do not use accessories that have not been approved by JANÉ. Additional and replacement parts should be obtained only from
the manufacturer.
11-The bedguard should not be used unless the fixings are in place and securely attached to both the bed and/or the mattress
and the bedguard.
12-This bed rail is suitable for all types of bed bases.

ASSEMBLY
The photos in the step-by-step assembly instructions, have a
different design from the model you have purchased.
Make sure you have all the parts before starting to assemble them.
1.- Fit the two parts that form the lower support rail together (A) Fig 1.
2.- Fit the upper front bar together (C) Fig 2.
3.- Fit the lower front bar together (D) Fig 3.
4.- Put the fabric (E) on the bar (C) Fig 4. Pay special attention to the
part that goes outside and the part that goes inside.
NOTE. Pay special attention when you put the fabric on bed rail metal
frame! Make sure that Velcro be on the OUTSIDE of the bed rail so that
the child can not be accessed when stays in his bed. This will prevent that
child could remove fabric bed rail alone during the night.
5.- Fit the upper bar (C) with the side articulations (B) Fig 5.
6.- Finish putting the fabric on.

7.- Place the rail on the floor with the side articulations on view

8.- Fit the bar that secures the side articulations of the stabiliser
foot Fig 8a and 8b.
9.- Put the lower front bar inside the fabric Fig 9.
10.- One of the ends of the bar has a movable plastic part
making it easier to fit the bar.
11.- Tighten the screw to secure the stabiliser foot of the rail.
12.- Open the angle of the rail fully.
