1 Adjusting the gain level
The AM6160L has an adjustable gain
control. You can adjust the gain level
depending on your signal strength. Use a
flat-headed screwdriver to adjust the gain.

Additional Features

Short circuit protection
For added safety the AM6160L has built-
in short circuit protection. Should a short
circuit be detected, the amplifier will shut
downin order to prevent any possible
damage. Should this occur, all outputs will
be switched off but the power LED will
remain lit.

1. Turn clockwise to increase the gain level
(max 18dB)
2. Turn anticlockwise to decrease the gain
level (min 0dB (no signal amplification))
To reset the system following a short
circuit, simply remove all outputs and
inputs, switch off the amplifier and remove
the power cable from its socket for approx
30 seconds.
You should then reconnect the amplifier
outputs one by one until you can fi nd
which output is causing the short circuit.
