Prior to turning gas on and attempting to light the appliance, make sure the appliance is
outside, in a well ventilated area and free of any debris and is not in contact with or near any
people, animals, materials or structures. Failure to adhere to the above instruction
result in property damage, serious bodily injury or death.

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

To Light
1. Make sure the control knob is in the "off" position.
2. Slowly open the valve on the propane gas tank by turning the knob counter-clockwise.
3. A pulse igniter is built into the control knob so pushing and turning the control knob
counterclockwise to the "L" position will ignite the fuel.
4. If ignition does not immediately take place in seconds, push and turn the control knob
clockwise to OFF and wait 5 minutes, and then repeat the ignition procedure as above.
5. To adjust the flame, turn the control knob either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on
whether you want to lower or raise the flame.
To Extinguish
1. Turn and push the control knob clockwise to the OFF position.
2. Close the cylinder value and disconnect the propane cylinder.
