Problem
Pump is running, but does not
deliver water
Pump does not start or suddenly
stops during operation
Pump runs, but output suddenly

Possible cause
Output hose kinked or clogged
Air blockages in the suction base
Impeller clogged
Impeller damaged
Water level falls below the minimum when pump starts
Motor overheated; thermal overload protection has
switched OFF
No power
Dirt particles are jammed in the suction base
Suction base is clogged
If the above troubleshooting solutions fail, contact your dealer or an authorised Silverline service centre.
Solution
Ensure hose is clean and not kinked
Wait for max. 1 minute for the pump to automatically de-aerate over the Vent
Valve (3). If necessary, switch OFF for a few seconds and start again
Clean impeller (see 'Maintenance')
Contact your dealer or an authorised Silverline service centre
Submerge pump deeper
Disconnect from power supply immediately and investigate the cause; clean
impeller (see 'Maintenance'); observe max. temperature of 35°C
Check fuses and electric connections; consult qualified electrician if necessary
