WARNINGS
Use this product only for its intended purpose, as described in this instruction manual
such as electronic bathroom scale for domestic use only.Any other use should be
considered improper and dangerous. It must be used according to the instructions,
contained in this manual and it is important that the user reads and understands the
use and maintenance information of the device.
Keep away from dust and humidity; do not expose to sun or to excessive temperatures.
Packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene etc.) must be kept out of
the reach of children as they have the potential to be dangerous and their disposal should
be carried out according to the current regulations. These scales should not to be used
to weigh objects or substances in commercial transactions, to produce medicines, to
calculate tolls, tariffs, taxes, premiums, fines, remunerations, indemnities or fees of a
similar kind determined by weight. These scales are to be used for keeping one's own
personal weight under control, and are not to be used for diagnostic purposes or for
medical treatment. Values which may seem unusual or outside the norm should always
be discussed with your doctor.
In order to avoid danger to the user of this device, the doses of any drug or therapy
prescribed by one's own doctor should in no circumstances be modified on the basis
of data calculated by this device. NB: to avoid possible injury, do not step on the edge
of the platform.
This appliance may be used by children of more than 8 years of age, persons with
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or inexpert persons only if they have been
previously trained in using it in a safe manner, and only if they have been informed of
the dangers the product can cause.
Children may not play with the appliance. Children may not clean or carry out any
maintenance on the appliance without adult supervision.
To avoid possible accidents, do not lean your foot on the edge of the platform.
NEVER plunge the scale in water or avoid that any liquid enters into the scale.
NEVER leave the child unattended on the scale.
Place the scale only on flat and stable surfaces.
Do not step on the scale with wet feet or when the surface of the scale is wet: slip
hazard
Keep the scale away from shocks, dust, chemical products, wide-ranging temperature
changes and heat sources (heaters, radiators).
