If you smell gas or suspect a leak on your appliance once the gas cartridge has been fitted, take the appliance immediately
to a well-ventilated outdoor location, away from any ignition sources, where the leak may be detected and stopped. First
check your gas cartridge. It could be that the gas cartridge is not connected properly with the sealing washer. If you have a
gas cartridge with safety valve, you can unscrew the cartridge cover and reinsert the cartridge cover into the appliance. If
you still smell gas and you want to check for leaks on your appliance, do so outside. DO NOT try to detect leaks using a flame;
use soapy water or leak detector spray. If you're not sure about detecting the leak, have the appliance tested by a qualified
person. Please contact your supplying retailer for assistance.

Extinguishing instructions for Cosiscoop gas lanterns
If something goes wrong, it is important to stop the gas supply as soon as possible. Immediately turn the control button 'OFF' to
stop the gas supply. In most cases, the flame will extinguish immediately. If there is a leak in the gas cartridge that prevents the
flame from extinguishing, the flame can be extinguished with a fire blanket or a powder extinguisher. The fire blanket will allow
you to extinguish the fire at an early stage. In addition, a powder extinguisher is suitable for extinguishing fires caused by
propane/butane gas. Never extinguish with another type of fire extinguisher.
