It is recommended to make use of the supplied spare parts drawing during assembly. The gear jack must be assembled as follows:
1
Attach the four pivoting wheels to both carriages and screw them together using the retaining ring and the cap nut (see figure 1)
Place the gear jack housing vertically into the recess of the chassis frame's web plate and attach them using 3 socket screws / nuts.
Fasten the screws only when the gear jack housing is securely positioned absolutely vertical towards a horizontal plane.
Then attach both carriages to the bottom side of the pump housing using the washer and the hex socket head screws. Caution: The
carriage must be assembled on its correct side. This means that the plane to be screwed together must be congruent with the plane
of the pump housing after assembly.
Fasten the screws only when the gear jack housing is securely positioned absolutely vertical towards a horizontal plane.
Place the basket on the piston end (see figure 1).
Please use a screwdriver to loosen the transport screw attached to the inside of the cylinder. Turn a maximum of 1.5 revolutions
counter-clockwise. This is necessary to allow for ventilation of the hydraulic circuit.
For initial startup the jack must be ventilated. To do so, simultaneously operate the foot pedal (pos. 39) several times, when not
loaded, in order to ventilate the hydraulic circuit.
First test the gear jack, when it is not loaded.
Lifting or lowering of the gear jack
To lift a load, use press on the pedal with your foot; the piston will move to its desired position.
Operating the gear jack underload
Operation of the gear jack under load is permitted only for short distances.
To do so, please make sure that:
the gear jack is in its bottom position, i.e., the piston is completely retracted
the ground is stable, i.e., the loading capacity of the ground is higher than the total weight of the load to be transported, including
the gear jack's own weight.
the ground is even. Unevenness may cause the gear jack to become unstable, and may even cause loss of the load or personal
injuries (see figure 3).
the load on the basket is centered and secured, if necessary (chains, securing straps). Loads not centered may cause the gear jack to
topple over, damaging the jack, as well as causing property damages and personal injuries.

The hydraulic unit (pump) is a sealed system, which only requires lubrication of the moving parts under normal working conditions
once a month. If the hydraulic unit was disassembled to replace worn out gaskets, or because oil leaked out, fill oil into the pump
slowly through the opening of the oil screw (pos. 54).
When changing oil, at least once a year, or refilling oil, use oil to fill the cylinder up to the oil intake screw. Please make sure that the
piston is retracted.
All moving parts must be lubricated at regular intervals. Keep the device always clean and away from aggressive chemicals. Do not
leave the jack outdoors.
The oil level in the tank may not exceed the filling plug position, when the piston is completely retracted.
Following table gives information about the required amount of oil and type of oil:
CAUTION!! Never use brake fluid. Too much oil in the pump may cause the device to stop operating.
Additionally, oil or lubrication must be applied to mechanical parts every 2 months
All damaged, severely worn out or poorly functioning devices MUST BE TAKEN OUT OF OPERATION and labeled with stoppage card.
Repair must be done by a technical expert authorized by the vendor.
The product must be disposed of or recycled according to legislation of the corresponding country.
