3.5 Switching off the acoustic alarm
If there is an alarm situation the acoustic alarm (buzzer) can be switched off by pressing
the button.
If the alarm situation still exists 5 minutes after the button has been pressed the
acoustic alarm will be switched on again.

3.6 Fan

Use the button to switch the fan on and off. When the fan is switched on the green
LED above the button will be on. This LED will flash if the battery voltage is too
low.
The fan is switched on automatically if there is an alarm situation.
3.7 Fuel valve
Use the button to open or close the fuel valve. When the fuel shut off valve is open
the green LED above the button will be on. This LED will flash if the battery voltage
is too low.
If the fuel shut off valve is opened the gas detector is automatically set to continu-
ous mode.
If there is an alarm situation as a result of too high a concentration of petrol vapour or
too high a concentration of CO the fuel shut off valve will be closed automatically.
