Cabin Air Filter Removal
The information below explains necessary procedures and tools to remove and install the Cabin Air
Filter (CAF).
1. Open the glove compartment and release the
catches, allowing it to fully open and hang down.
2. Locate CAF access panel above the blower motor
and remove it from the blower assembly.
3. Remove the CAF element from the blower
assembly. The original filter element can be
discarded.

4. Install the replacement CAF element into the blower assembly.
NOTE: Verify the CAF elements air flow indicators are properly positioned.
5. Reinstall the CAF access panel and the glove compartment.
Noise Test
6. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
7. Engine ON, A/C ON, blower speed on high.
8. Listen for any abnormal air noises from the air filter area.
