FUNCIONES
El regenerador dual DUOX PLUS 1S puede emplearse con los siguientes propósitos:
• Aumento de la capacidad de la instalación en distancia y / o carga de terminales. El regenerador
se tiene que conectar en un punto donde la señal sea aceptable (por ejemplo, donde un monitor
funcione correctamente). Ver Esquemas 1, 2 y 3.
- 1. Extensión distancia placa.
- 2. Extensión monitores.
- 3. Regeneración señal.
• Aislamiento de secciones (troncales,...). Las dos secciones entre las que se instala quedan
aisladas ante cortocircuitos, carga y reflexiones de señal.
• Cuando se alimenta por un puerto, el regenerador permite pasar hacia el otro puerto una corriente
máxima de 1.6 A.
• Además en modalidad como regenerador multicanal, establecimiento de conversaciones
simultáneas en diferentes bloques. Ver Esquema 4.

- El regenerador puede alimentarse por cualquiera de sus dos puertos, pero no por ambos
simultáneamente. De hacerlo, el regenerador aislará la corriente entre la borna INPUT y la borna
OUTPUT, apagándose por protección.

PROGRAMACIÓN en Regenerador multicanal del Número de BLOQUE o SUB-BLOQUE
(Direccionamiento).
Situar el Microrruptor 1 (MULTI) y 2 (PROG.ON) en ON. (Microrruptor 4 sin uso).
El Microrruptor 3 debe estar en ON si se quiere programar el SUB-BLOQUE y en OFF si se quiere
programar BLOQUE.
Al conectar (alimentar) el regenerador, se entra en modo programación del número de bloque o sub-
bloque dependiendo de la elección del microrruptor 3. El led POWER parpadea de forma intermitente
rápida hasta que se realiza la programación del número del bloque/sub-bloque mediante el bus.
Para programar la dirección realizar una llamada desde la placa de dicho bloque/sub-bloque, un
autoencendido (sub-bloque no lo permite) o pulsar F1 desde un monitor de ese bloque/sub-bloque
(conectados al borne BUS OUTPUT).
Se dispone de 60 segundos para programar su dirección, momento en el que el interfaz sale de
programación. En el momento en que el dispositivo quede programado con una dirección, el led
POWER pasará a parpadear con una cadencia más lenta.
Una vez finalizada la programación situar el microrruptor 2 en OFF, para evitar reprogramaciones
accidentales.

LED rojo « POWER »: Si está encendido indica que el dispositivo tiene alimentación.
LED verde « » / « »: Cuando este LED está encendido, indica tráfico de datos en el sentido
marcado por la flecha. Durante una llamada, ambos LEDs deben parpadear. Si uno no se
ilumina, indica insuficiente señal en ese sentido.

The DUOX PLUS 1S dual regenerator can be used for the following purposes:
- Increased remote installation and/or terminal loading capacity. The regenerator has to be
connected at a point where there is a suitable signal (e.g. where a monitor is working properly).
See Diagrams 1, 2 and 3.
- 1. Plate distance extension.
- 2. Monitor extension.
- 3. Signal regeneration.
• Section isolation (riser,...). The two sections between which it is installed are isolated from short
circuits, charge and signal reflections.
• When supplied from one port, the regenerator allows a maximum current of 1.6 A to be passed to
the other port.
• Also in multichannel regenerator mode, establishing simultaneous conversations in different
blocks. See Diagram 4.

- The regenerator can be powered by either of its two ports, but not both simultaneously. If
this is done, the regenerator will isolate the current between the INPUT terminal and the OUTPUT
terminal, shutting it down for protection.

Multichannel Regenerator Programming of the BLOCK or SUB-BLOCK number (Routing).
Set Microswitch 1 (MULTI) and 2 (PROG.ON) to ON. (Microswitch 4 not in use).
Microswitch 3 must be ON if you want to program the SUB-BLOCK and OFF if you want to program
BLOCK.
When the regenerator is switched on (with power), the block or sub-block number programming
mode is entered, depending on the choice of microswitch 3. The POWER LED blinks quickly until
the block/sub-block number is programmed via the bus.
To program the address, make a call from the panel of that block/sub-block, an auto power-up (not
allowed with sub-block) or press F1 from a monitor of that block/sub-block (connected to the BUS
OUTPUT terminal).
You have 60 seconds to program your address, at which time the interface exits programming mode.
As soon as the device is programmed with an address, the POWER LED will flash at a slower rate.
Once the programming is finished, set the microswitch 2 to OFF, to avoid accidental reprogramming.

Red "POWER" LED: If it is on, it indicates that the device has power.
Green LED « » / « »: When this LED is on, it indicates data traffic in the direction marked by
the arrow. During a call, both LEDs should flash. If one does not light up, it indicates insufficient
signal in that direction.
