INSTALLATION
PANEL BENDING
It is forbidden to bend the solar panel over 5°. This may cause cells and/or inter-cells electrical
connections breaks.
To avoid bending the panel during handling, grip it only in the direction of its length
and by its center. Do not grab it by the ends of its width.
Please note that any degradation due to an excessive bending cancels the warranty.
LOCATION
Sensors arrangement influences your electrical performances. Choose the most optimal inclination
and orientation according to your environment. Avoid shadow areas, or that any object may be a
source of shadow.
In case of glueing the solar panel, itS performances can be altered. The lack of
ventilation would cause a temperature rise affecting performance by a 10 to 15%
compared to a well ventilated and not glued installation.
FIXING
UNISUN MS panels can be fixed with sandows or ropes thanks to their eyelets.
During fixing with the eyelets, it is mandatory to observe a suitable tightening. A too strong
tightening can cause delamination due to eyelets break and/or plastic perforation.
These damages are not covered by the warranty
DRILLING
Do not drill or cut the modul. This would alter the waterproofness of the panel.
Please note that any modification on the panel and its connections cancels the warranty.
WEIGHT ON THE PANEL
Solar panels are made with monocristallyne cells (equivalent to glass) which are inherently fragile. It
is therefore forbidden to walk on it.
Please note that any damage due to an impact will not be covered by the warranty.
