BALANCING THE FAN :
Place the clip in the centre of a blade.
Turn on the fan, and if the vibration continues, place the clip on another blade until the
vibration is reduced. It will be the blade that needs the counterweight.
Check the best position to place the counterweight, placing the clip in different places
from the centre to the tip of the blade, until the vibration disappears.
Glue the counterweight to the surface of the blade at the height of the clip. Remove
the clip and turn on the fan. If the vibration persists, attach another counterweight, or
try another position to attach a counterweight.
DISCARDING WORN HOUSEHOLD DEVICES
The European directive 2012/19/EU pertaining to electrical and electronic
waste prohibits such household goods from being discarded with local refuse
services. Worn devices must be collected separately to optimize the recovery
and recycling rates of the components therein to reduce detrimental effects on the
environment and on human health.
