Prior to drilling, check underneath
vehicle to make sure there is nothing
below the holes, such as electrical wiring, hoses, fuel
tank, fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or
other important parts which could be damaged by
drilling. Contact with electrical wiring, hoses, fuel tank,
fuel lines, brake lines, mufflers, spare tire, or other
important parts COULD result in death or serious injury.
To reduce the weight of the unit during installation, it is
s
recommended to remove the drawers from the unit.
It is suggested (but not required) to bolt the slide frame
s
to the truck bed. The frame cross members have been
pre-punched to allow for thorough bolting. Use Grade 8
stainless steel fasteners (not included). See Figure 1.

Install Slide Out base in truck bed.

Open the Bed Box drawers just far enough to reach in
n
and unscrew the rubber stoppers from the underside
of the top of the box. Completely remove the drawers
and set aside.
4.
Use a center punch to mark the location of holes. Drill
holes through Slide Out side rails with 1/4 inch drill
bit at specified locations (see Figure 2).
NOTE: Holes must align with Bed Box.
5.
Place Bed Box drawer box (A) onto the top frame of
Slide Out. Line up side T-nuts (B) on Bed Box with the
drilled holes in the Slide Out side rails. Run screw
through a washer and then through the Slide Out side
rail. Screw into lined up T-nut. Tighten snuggly with a
phillips screw driver. Repeat step with all 8 screws,
washers and T-nuts.
6.
Reinstall the top frame of the Slide Out with Bed Box

attached to the base of the Slide Out.
7.
Reinstall drawers and rubber stoppers by reversing
n
the procedure in Step 3.
