INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1 - Loosen the handle [4] of the stand foot, lengthening or shrinking the extensible part of the machine
manually, put at the desired height the clamp [1] and x again the handle of the foot [4].
2 - Loosen the side loop [3] of the clamp and place it horizontally, x the clamp moderately.
3 - Once we have the clamp at the desired height, horizontal, open and xed we can proceed to raise the bicycle
manually, when we support the bicycle on the clamp we proceed to tighten the clamp [2] according to the type
of frame.
4 - With the clamp at the desired height you can x the height control loop [5] to rotate the stand. This allows
you to loosen the up/down handle [4] and rotate the stand with the bike mounted without lowering it to its
horizontal position.
*For this operation it is important to always check that the height loop [5] is properly closed before opening the
up/down handle [4] so as not to cause an abrupt lowering of the bicycle.
5 - Once the bike is secured with the clamp, loosen the side lever [3], nd the necessary angle according to the
inclination of the frame or the work to be done, x the lever [3] of the clamp to keep it at the desired angle.
6 - The clamp does not have a clamping stop [2], the user must determine the pressure needed according to the
work to be done and the type of frame to be clamped.
It is important to know the type of frame to be clamped, since carbon frames are weaker to clamping.
*For this type of frame there is a special clamp (GOLIATH 360º CARBON) that allows to cover more frame surface
and reduce the e ort per square centimeter, it also has a softer polyurethane protection and designed to prevent
the frame from rolling even with less pressure.
(See our product catalog)
7 - With the bicycle raised we can turn it on the axis of the clamp looking for the desired position.
For this operation we only have to loosen the side clip [3] that xes the clamp.
Once the bicycle is in the desired position, proceed again to tighten the side clamp so that it remains xed in that
position.
8 - Whenever we intend to turn 180º (or another angle) we must make sure that the clamp has the necessary
pressure [2] on the frame so that it does not roll and can tip over to the sides.
To return to the initial position, just loosen the side clamp [3] again and, holding the bike, turn it to its at
position or the angle you want.
*It is very important for this operation of turning the bike 180º to be easy and with little e ort is that when you
hold the bike you look for the closest center of gravity of the bike.
9 - Once you have nished with the lifting work and you want to lower the bike to its starting position, you
should look for the horizontal plane of the clamp before opening it, once open you can lower the bike manually.
10 - GOLIATH G2-EVOLUTION is ready to install most of the accessories of the GOLIATH BIKE line of stands.
WARNINGS OF DANGER IN THE USE OF THIS STAND:
1- Always place the bicycle on the lift as centered as possible, always looking for the approximate center of gravity.
2 - Under no circumstances hold the bicycle by the ends.
3 - Always hold the clamp on rigid areas of the frame, avoiding plastic trim casings or other weak areas.
4 - The stand must not be operated by children, only by adults.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO WORK UNDERNEATH THE RAISED LOAD WITHOUT SECURING IT WITH APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL
MEANS.
WARNINGS IN CASE OF REPAIR OF THIS STAND:
1 - Only use spare parts from the manufacturer or authorized supplier.
2 - The manufacturer is not responsible for any modi cations made without prior authorization from the manufacturer.
3 - Only use the GOLIATH G2-EVOLUTION stand according to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
4 - Only carry out maintenance and repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual.
5 - Repairs and maintenance may only be performed by quali ed personnel.
MAINTENANCE:
1 - The stand does not require any speci c maintenance.
2 - The only greasing point may be the clamp holder and the clamping clip, which must be lubricated with a little grease,
vaseline, etc.
This greasing process should be done at the user's discretion and although it is not necessary, it does contribute to
smoother movements.
WARNING
THE CLOSING PRESSURE OF THE 360º BASIC CLAMP MUST BE DETERMINED
BY THE USER FOR ITS CORRECT OPERATION.
GOLIATH BIKE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED
TO THE FRAME OR ANY PART OF THE BICYCLE DUE TO MISUSE OF THE 360º
BASIC CLAMP, THE USER BEING SOLELY RESPONSIBLE.
IN NO CASE SHOULD THE 360º BASIC CLAMP BE USED TO HOLD CARBON
FRAMES. FOR THIS WE HAVE THE 360º CARBON CLAMP (G-AC014) DESIGNED
EXCLUSIVELY TO EXERT LESS PRESSURE AND NOT DAMAGE CARBON FRAMES.
