SETUP FOR TIG (GTAW) PROCESS
PRESS
the button to set the TIG welding process
OPEN
the gas cylinder valve and adjust the gas pressure regulator
PLUG
ground clamp cable into positive socket and twist clockwise to lock in place
PLUG
TIG torch cable into negative socket and twist clockwise to lock in place
ENSURE
the ground cable has a good connection to workpiece and is connected on clean, bare metal
CONNECT
TIG torch gas line to the gas regulator (only argon gas)
SWITCH
machine on
TURN
the Amperage Control Knob to adjust the welding current
OPEN
gas valve on the torch handle
START
the weld arc with a lift arc technique
CLOSE
the gas valve on the torch handle
REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE GAS CYLINDER VALVE AFTER ALL WELDING IS COMPLETED
