INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Verify pipe O.D. and saddle range to ensure proper part
is being installed.
2) Thoroughly clean pipe surface to be covered by Cap
Saddle.
3) Lubricate the saddle gaskets to allow proper seating and
compression.
4) Make a mark on the main pipe near the center line of
the current corporation fitting to ensure proper alignment
is maintained during installation.
5) Place the Cap Saddle over the corporation fitting using
the marking on the pipe as a guide.
6) Hand-tighten all nuts to snug while maintaining the Cap
Saddle in its proper location.
7) Begin to tighten all nuts down in a crisscross pattern, in
order to prevent saddle from pulling in one direction or
the other.
8) Torque all nuts to between 75 and 125 foot pounds.
FAILURE TO TEST ALL SEALS PRIOR TO BACKFILL VOIDS
ALL WARRANTIES.
