Important Recommendations

•
Charge the battery pack immediately before use, or within a couple of days of use.
•
Do not short circuit the battery pack and keep it away from metallic items.
•
Do not disassemble, open, or modify the battery pack.
•
Do not drop the battery pack or apply mechanical shocks or pressure to it.
•
Do not expose the battery pack to excessive heat or fire.
•
Do not store the battery pack at temperatures above 50ºC (122ºF), such as inside a car on a hot day or in
direct sunlight, as this may damage the battery pack.
•
Do not immerse the battery pack in water or get the battery pack wet.
•
Do not solder directly to the battery pack contacts.
•
Use the Intermec battery pack P/N 068868 only with your terminal. Use of this battery pack in other
applications could result in damage to the device or battery pack.
•
For maximum battery efficiency, the recommended temperature range for charging and storing battery
packs is 10ºC to 30ºC (50ºF to 86ºF).
•
Keep the battery contact holes clean and free of dust and dirt. Remove any accumulated debris using a
non-metallic pointed object, such as the sharpened end of a wooden pencil.
•
Do not recharge battery packs in locations that are extremely hot or cold, dusty or dirty, very humid, or
subject to vibration.
Caution
The lithium-ion battery used in this device may present a fire or chemical burn hazard if
mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or incinerate.
