BEFORE INSTALLING
The Bird Gard Pro complete kit includes the
control unit with integrated speaker, a
mounting bracket and a transformer. 230V/
12V for the mains. (A battery with assembly
clip is optionally available as well as an
additional speaker that can be plugged into
the fiche provided for this effet at the back of
the unit).
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the power switch
is in the "off" position and that the volume
control is set to minimum (low) (to do this
turn the knob counter-clockwise) (see Fig.1),
before plugging in the unit.
INITIALIZATION AND INSTALLATION
1) Open the transparent cover to set the
recording switches (recording 1-8), and the
operating mode setting switches (mode settings).
See "Programming your BIRD GARD Pro" for a
detailed explanation.
2) It is recommended that the control unit be
mounted on a surface or location that is positioned in the direction
and at the same level as the area to be protected.
3)Use the metal fixing bracket included in the kit (Fig.2), the 2 screws
as well as the 2 washers to fix the control unit to a post, fence, wall
or other surface
4) Connect the transformer. Into a power outlet (or, optionally,
connect the battery cable to the terminals of a 12V battery only).
The other end of the cable should be plugged into the "power" plug
on the back of the control unit.
