Safety information:
Handle the lamp with care and keep it away from water, open flames and other heat
■
sources (e.g. radiators, direct sunlight).
Do not use the lamp in environments where there is a risk of explosion.
Regularly clean the lighting unit and sensors with a soft, dry cloth (no cleaning products),
■
to prevent damage to the sensors for automatic operation.
Do not make any modifications to the device and/or battery.
■
Do not cover the lamp during operation. Do not leave the lamp unattended during operation.
■
Do not use the lamp if it or its accessories are visibly damaged.
■
Only use the original power supply/charging device to charge the lamp. Do not use any
■
other devices for charging.
A damaged power supply or charging cable should be replaced immediately.
■
Warning: The automatic dimming at short distances also protects your eyes. Therefore,
■
please only use the lamp in manual operation in exceptional cases, do not look directly at
the light beam and never the light beam direct at other people.
Always use and store the lamp out of the reach of children.
■
The light source cannot be replaced. If the light source is defective, the entire lamp must
■
be replaced.
The lamp serves the purpose of portable, spatially and temporally limited lighting in
■
rooms, e.g. at a work station in a workshop, and is not intended for general lighting of
rooms, e.g. in the home.
Only use the lamp as described in the operating instructions.
■
Non-observance of these safety instructions can lead to property damage and/or
personal injury. The user is liable for damage caused by improper use.
Charging process:
Please charge the lamp for six hours before first use.
■
Switch off the lamp before connecting it to the power supply.
■
Connect the Micro-USB-B connector to the lamp (the protected Micro-USB-B charging
■
socket is located on the side of the light). Then connect the USB cable to the power sup-
ply. Lastly, connect the power supply with a power source (100 – 240 V AC).
The 4-stage capacity/battery level indicator of the light shows the progress of the charg-
■
ing process. When all four LEDs of the indicator are fully lit in green, the charging process
is complete.
Always keep the charging socket closed while using the lamp.
■
Charge the lamp fully on a regular basis, particularly before placing it into storage for a
■
prolonged time.
Operation:
Press the on/off switch once to start the lamp in automatic mode.
■
In automatic mode, the intelligent lighting unit controls the required output for your indi-
■
vidual situation. This means that at short distances, the output of the lamp is reduced to
prevent glare and reflections, and/or to prevent excessively bright lighting of the
illuminated object.
