HQ MAESTRO II
The Maestro II considers latest developments in trick flying. 'Old School'
and 'New School' tricks are easily managed by this free-style kite and can
thus be learned well and quickly by the pilot. The Maestro II has a lower
spreader made of wrapped Dynamic T15 which significantly strengthens
the structure compared to its predecessor. Two enclosed 15 gram weights
allow for precise tricks, even at stronger wind speeds. Challenging winding
tricks are among the strengths of the Maestro II. It now flies Jojos even
easier and in multiple ways. These features make the Maestro II a ver-
satile free-style flying machine with that the pilot never gets bored. Even
advanced pilots need time to completely exploit its capacity.
Assembly
Assembly of the MAESTRO II is fairly conventional and the included ma-
nual can help you to do so. Fixed to the leading edge just below the top
spreader you will find the so called "JoJo" stopper. They help you to wrap
the flying lines around the kite to keep on flying. In order to do so, turn
the "JoJo" stopper outwards as much as possible to literally make them
"catch" the flying lines.
Bridle
Your MAESTRO II is equipped with a "Turbo Bridle". You can adjust the
kite to various wind speeds by making use of the knot ladder located at
the top spreader tip. To do so, loosen the loops and move them "up" by
one knot. This way you are adjusting the kite to when there is less wind
(shallow). Moving the knot in the upper direction sets your kite to higher
winds (steeper).
Trim Weights
Your MAESTRO II comes with two little steel weights. One of them should
already be attached to the lower end of the spine. It makes flying and
tricks easier (fig.1). To make further tricks possible, add the second
weight to the spine which simply slides on as seen in (fig.2).
