Keep this instruction manual safely.
INTENDED USE
This grill is designed for contact grilling and grilling foods with short to medium cooking times and is
also suitable for grilling and toasting (domestic use only). The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage resulting from other uses and/or modifications made by the consumer and is advised that
these may involve considerable risk.

Please note the following warnings:
• Only connect to alternating current.
• Only connect the appliance to an isolated ground receptacle
• The rated voltage must comply with the details on the rating label.
Packing Material:
Do not simply throw packaging material away, but recycle it. Please dispose of the packaging in the
appropriate containers for recycling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always disconnect the mains plug from the mains before washing.
• Never immerse this appliance in water.
• Remove the grill plates before cleaning. Remove dirt with a wooden or plastic scraper. Then use a
brush and apply a little water with detergent to clean. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
• Avoid using scrapers and metal brushes.Never cut directly into the grill plates with a knife or metal
object.Always dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• Avoid using solvents and oven sprays to clean the grill.

• CAUTION: Read all safety advice and instructions. Failure to follow safety advice and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• CAUTION: Danger of injury or burns! Let the appliance cool down after use and avoid handling it
until it has reached room temperature.
• Check the power cable regularly for damage or deterioration. Damaged or tangled cables increase
the risk of electric shock.
• The appliance must cool down completely before removing the grill plates or before cleaning or
moving the appliance, and the appliance must be completely dry before use after washing.
• Do not pour flammable liquids onto the grill plates
• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety regulations. In the event of damage to
the appliance or the mains cable, unplug the appliance immediately. Repairs may only be carried out
by specialist workshops.
• For safe disconnection, unplug the appliance after each use by pulling the mains plug only.
• The packaging material must be kept out of the reach of children in order to avoid inappropriate use
and to prevent choking.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and persons who have no knowledge or experience
in the use of the appliance or who are physically, sensory or mentally handicapped.
• Do not use this appliance with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
• Do not place flammable objects, such as tissues, grill cutlery, etc., on the hot grilling surface.
• The product is NOT dishwasher safe.
INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Before grilling for the first time, the protective coating on the heating elements must be burnt off.
To do this, heat the appliance completely closed at maximum temperature for about 15 minutes. Do
not worry if a little smoke and odour is formed.
• Before the first use, pour a little cooking oil on a kitchen towel once and treat the top of the grill
plates.
• Perform this exercise in a well ventilated room
