Once the transmitter is turned on, a red LED on the transmitter flashes 3
times and the current temperature is displayed on the main unit. The time
and the current temperature are displayed on the monitor.
NOTE: If the probe is not connected to the transmitter, then the current tempera-
ture is shown as "---".
IMPORTANT: The transmitter sends the temperature every 30 seconds if the
temperature does not change. The transmitter is automatically updated as soon
as the temperature changes.
7. Usage
7.1 Program selection
To select the type of meat that you want to cook, press the "MEAT" button re-
peatedly until the desired type of meat is shown in the thermometer display. The
display shows the type of meat which is necessary for the measurement.
7.2 Cooking level selection
Press the "TASTE" button to select the cooking time for the meat you want to
cook. The different cooking levels are:
WELL / M WELL / MEDIUM / M RARE / RARE - the corresponding preset tempera-
ture is displayed on the monitor as "Target temperature".
7.3 Selecting the temperature manually

Press and hold the "MODE" button for 3 seconds. The "Target Temp" then
starts to flash.

Press the "MIN" or "SEC" buttons to set the temperature.

Press the :MODE" button to confirm the setting.

NOTE: Once the desired temperature is reached, you hear a beep and the
"CURRENT TEMP" display starts to flash.
