Warnings
• Read the instructions before using the appliance
• Check that all seals between the appliance and the gas cylinder are in place and in good condition before connecting the
gas cylinder. Do not use a cylinder if it has damaged or worn seals causing leaks. Do not use a cylinder which is damaged, or
which does not operate properly.
• Always change or connect the gas cylinder outside, away from people and any source of ignition. Do not tamper with or
remove the gas cylinder, regulator, or any fitting while in use.
• Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after use.
• The Cobb Premier+ Gas must be disconnected from the gas cylinder after use or when in storage. Do not store a spare or
disconnected gas cylinder under or near this grill. After a period of storage, the Cobb Premier+ Gas should be checked for
gas leaks when connected to a cylinder again.
• The Cobb Premier+ Gas must be operated on a secure level base.
• This appliance must be kept away from flammable materials during use. Keep the cooking area clear of flammable vapours
and liquids such as gasoline, alcohol and combustible materials.
• Use outdoors only.
• If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well-ventilated flame free location where
the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on your appliance, do it outside, away from people. Do
not try to detect leaks using a flame but rather use soap water which will bubble when applied generously onto the leaking
connections.

• Do not modify the appliance. Parts sealed by Cobb or our agents shall not be manipulated by the user.
• Do not store or make use of any flammable liquids or vapours in the vicinity of the Cobb Premier+ Gas.
• CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD— Using this appliance in an enclosed space may cause death. Do not use in caravans, tents,
marine craft, cars, mobile homes or similar locations.
• Do not tamper with the inner parts or convert any component on the Cobb Premier+ Gas.
• Always keep your Cobb Premier+ Gas clean.
• Do not pour liquid into the Inner Sleeve while hot.
• Do not leave hot fat or oil unattended on the Cobb Premier+ Gas as this could create a fire hazard.
• Should a fire (grease, oil etc.) occur, turn off all burners and leave the Dome Cover closed until fire is out.
• The Cobb Premier+ Gas can be a potential fire hazard if not handled with care.
• Please carefully follow the assembly and fitting instructions in this manual.
• Use the Cobb Premier+ Gas only for its intended purpose.
• Should the flame on the burner go out while in operation, the grill is equipped with a thermocouple which will cut off the
gas supply. Should this happen, immediately turn the regulator knob to the "off" position. Open the dome lid and wait 5
minutes before attempting to reignite. Please refer to igniting instructions in this manual for the ignition process.
• Ensure all 4 grommets are in place before, during and after cooking.
• A dented or rusted cylinder may be hazardous and should be checked and certified by your gas supplier prior to use.
• Although your cylinder may appear to be empty, gas may still be present. The canister should be transported, stored and
disposed of accordingly. Contact your local Cobb Distributor or Gas supplier for advise on the disposal of Gas canisters/
cylinders.
• Exercise caution when using the Cobb Premier+ Gas. High temperatures will be achieved during cooking. Your Cobb
Premier+ Gas should not be left unattended
• Do not move the appliance during use.
• Never lean over/reach directly over the unit while cooking as high temperatures will be experienced or may cause harm.
• Never place hands on the metallic sections of the Dome Cover, Black Top Ring or on the underside of the unit while
operational as these surfaces may be hot and injury may occur.
• The Cobb Premier+ Gas must be cleaned thoroughly after every use, once cooled.
• When cleaning the valves and burners take caution to ensure you do not enlarge any ports or orifices. Do not submerge the
base of the grill when cleaning the unit.
• Butane mixtures and Propane gasses are not natural gasses. Using a natural gas on your Cobb Premier+ Gas is dangerous,
and this will void your warranty.
• Use heat-protection/resistant gloves when operating the Cobb Premier+ Gas.
• The unit must be properly assembled according to the instructions. Do not use the Cobb Premier+ Gas unless all parts are
in place.
