Plug in the device.
The grill can be used in 3 different positions:
Contact plates [Fig.D]
In this position, the food is cooked from above and below simultaneously. This method enhances the
flavour of the meat (steaks, hamburgers, etc.):
• Turn the thermostat knob to the required temperature.
• Switch the device on by turning the I/O knob to position 'I'.
• When the set temperature has been reached, the ready-for-use LED (green) will light up.
• Open the upper plate.
• Insert the food.
• Close the upper plate on the lower one, so it's resting on the food [Fig. D].
Parallel plates [Fig. E]
Particularly delicate food can be toasted/heated with the plates in this position, which cannot be touched
or pressed by the upper plate (pizza, toast, etc.). Also ideal for warming up food that's already cooked
(lasagne, etc.):
• Open the upper plate.
• Adjust the height of the upper plate by sliding the closing and plate height adjustment hook to the
required position [Fig. F].
• Lower the upper plate.
• Turn the thermostat knob to the required temperature.
• Switch the device on by turning the I/O knob to position 'I'.
• When the set temperature has been reached, the ready-for-use LED (green) will light up.
• Open the upper plate.
• Insert the food.
• Lower the upper plate.
