9 – Mode of operation
• Check that the relevant tool is firmly
seated before and during any work
you carry out.
• Guide the appliance with both hands
as shown in Fig. 6.
• Always work away from the body.
• Start with a shallow working angle
and light pressure.
ATTENTION! To high an application
pressure, too high a working
angle and sharp-edged insertable
tools may damage the base material!
ATTENTION! Risk of injury to
user and others near him from
flying pieces! these persons should
wear safety glasses.
Tool used and appliance may heat up
during use.
Do not overload appliance and allow
appliance to cool down from time to time.
Insertable tools
a) Scraper (Fig. 3)
For work on hard base materials, such
as concrete, screed, etc.. For removing
floor coverings made of fabric, PVC and
cork. Removing adhesive, plaster and
mortar residues. Ensure the tool is
correctly fitted.
b) Sawing tool (Fig. 4)
For wood and metal work, for example,
for plunge cuts and for separating
wood, making cable outlets in
cupboards, shortening slim profiles,
cutting off protruding nails.

c) Triangular sander adapter (Fig. 5)
For sanding and cleaning small
surfaces, for getting into corner etc. For
removing glue and mortar residue.

10 – Maintenance and
ATTENTION! Before carrying out
any maintenance work on the
tool, switch it off and unplug it from
the mains!
Sharpening the tools (Fig. 7)
Insertable tools with cutting edges
should always be reground to ensure
good results. For this the tool should
be clamped in the appliance and the
ground side fed to the grinding
medium.
For this purpose, we recommend a
stationary sanding machine.
Use a corundum disk and grind wet.
Avoid blue discoloration of the grinding
surface, as otherwise the tool hardness
will be impaired. Note the direction of
rotation!
Cleaning
• Clean the machine case only with a
damp cloth – do not use solvents!
Then dry thoroughly.
• Always keep the ventilation slots on
the machine clean.
