IMPORTANT
• Read this instruction carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
• Before connecting the kettle, ensure that the voltage indicated on the identification plate
corresponds with the main voltage. Connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket only.
• First, fill the kettle and close the lid firmly, then plug in. Never use the kettle without the lid
firmly positioned
• Place the appliance on stable flat surface. Ensure that the kettle will not fall into water.
• The kettle is protected against damage due to operation with insufficient water by means of
a safety cut-out. This cuts off power when the heating element gets too hot.
• The kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. You can switch the kettle off
manually even before the water starts boiling using the on/off switch.
• If the kettle ever runs dry while operating, first remove the mains plug from the wall socket,
then pour in sufficient cold water to cool down the heating element. The safety cut-out
automatically reset.
• Pour away the very first water boiled with this kettle. The appliance is then ready for use.
!Warning
• Only use the kettle for heating water.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not overfill as boiling water may overflow. Do not fill above the MAX or below the MIN
mark.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces of the kettle or allow your hand to come into contact with the
steam from the spout or the lid aperture, especially filling hot water.
• This appliance only coordinate with the power base supplied.
• Before cleaning, always disconnect from the mains and allow the kettle to cool. Never
immerse the kettle in water at any time.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Technical Assistance to avoid
hazard.
