INSTALLATION AND SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS WPGS-1C-U
GENERAL :
IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Upon receipt the fixture, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the
delivery carrier. Compare the catalog description listed on the packing slip with the fixture label on the housing to
assure you have received material.
This fixture must be wired in accordance with the international electrical code and applicable local codes and
ordinances. Proper grounding is required to insure personal safety. Carefully observe the correct grounding
procedure under installation section.
Disconnect Power at fuse or circuit breaker panel or fuse box before installing or servicing.
INSTALLATION :
1. Remove mounting plate from fixture.
2. Determine size of recessed box and knock out corresponding holes on mounting plate.
3. Place back gasket pad between mounting plates and fixture. Pull wires through center hole of mounting plate.
4. Use approved connectors to connect fixture leads to supply leads and make wire splices inside junction box.
5. Install mounting plate with screws over recessed surface box. Install the provided self-adhesive gasket to
the back of the fixture to cover the mounting plate. Also be sure to caulk between mounting plate and box to
insure a weather tight seal.
6. Install fixture over threaded nipple and attach lock-nut. Adjust fixture alignment for horizontal lamp orientation.
