RUNNING PREPARATION
BATTERY INSTALLATION - TRANSMITTER:
Make sure the power button on the boat and the switch on the transmitter are in the off position.
1. Use a Philips head screwdriver to unscrew the battery hatch screw.
2. Put 1 9V alkaline battery into the transmitter, paying close attention to the polarity symbols (+ & -)
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
BATTERY CHARGING:
1. Plug the Wall charger into a standard 110V wall outlet.
2. Connect the battery pack to the charger.
3. Charge the battery pack for approximately 2 to 3 hours, or until it starts to feel warm.
DO NOT OVERCHARGE: Damage to the battery pack or an explosion may occur resulting in property damage or bodily harm.
4. Disconnect the battery pack from the charger, and remove the charger from the outlet.
ATTENTION: NEVER LEAVE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER UNATTENDED WHILE CHARGING.
BATTERY INSTALLATION - BOAT:
1. Remove the clips holding the cover of the boat in place and remove the cover.
2. Place the battery pack in the compartment with the wires facing the rear of the boat.
3. Plug the connector of the battery pack into the boat connector.
4. Replace the cover and reinsert the hold-down clips.
MOUNTING THE ANTENNA TUBE:
1. Feed the end of the receiver antenna wire carefully into the antenna tube. and then mount the antenna tube on the boat.
Do not cut or knot the antenna wire.
AREA AND WEATHER SUGGESTIONS:
1. Do not run the boat in strong winds or when there are high waves.
2. Make sure the area you are running is free from people and obstacles.
3. Lake or Pond vegetation should be avoided or they can obstruct the prop and rudder.
4. Make sure there are no other models running on the same frequency nearby.
OPERATING YOUR BOAT
1. Screw the transmitter antenna into the transmitter until snug.
2. Extend the transmitter antenna fully.
3. Turn ON the transmitter first, and then turn ON the H2O Elite.
4. Check the throttle and rudder control to make sure they are operating properly.
5. Place the boat in the water.
6. The trigger on your transmitter will accelerate your boat.
7. While moving, you can use the transmitter wheel to turn your boat left and right.
AFTER RUNNING YOUR BOAT
1. Turn OFF the H2O Elite first, then the turn OFF the transmitter.
2. Disconnect the battery pack.
3. The Battery pack should be allowed to cool for 30 minutes before charging.
4. Dry the boat thoroughly.
