General operation of the electrical assistance
The electric-assisted bicycle can be used with or without assistance by pressing the ON/OFF button and playing with the ECO - NORMAL -
POWER modes. The ECO - NORMAL - POWER assistance modes selectable on the «D» screen allow you to choose a level of electrical assistan-
ce in addition to the effort provided. The electric power assist will only work if you pedal with the display on. The assistance is switched off when
the speed is higher than 25km/h. In the event of intensive use and exceptional weather conditions, the assistance may be cut off to preserve the
entire system. The power supplied is calculated by the controller «B» according to the selected mode. Depending on the mode selected, the «B»
controller sends more or less current to the «H» motor to provide you with the desired assistance.
Power assistance does not kick in or shuts down in the following situations:
- The speed is above 25km/h
- You're not pedalling
- The remaining battery charge is not sufficient
- When the control screen is off or disconnected
- In case of intensive use and in exceptional climatic conditions, power assistance may be cut off to safeguard the whole system
- When you brake
