Cutting tips
• Make smooth, confident sideways movements while working.
• If it is necessary to cut smaller roots, it may be easier to do this before
cutting the stump.
• If an excessive amount of chips builds up while cutting, turn off the
machine, wait until the cutting wheel has stopped rotating, take the
machine away from the stump, and brush the chips away.
• To prevent the cutting wheel from sticking in the hole, either move the
machine to the other side of the stump to continue working or fill the hole
with chips before continuing to remove the stump on the same side.
Preparing the machine for work
Place the cutting wheel near the top edge of the stump.
Removing roots
1. Make sure the throttle is set to FAST. In this position the cutting wheel
reaches the cutting speed.
2. Tilt the cutting wheel to the side of the stump, then lower it over the
nearest roots buried at the base of the stump.
3. Make sideways movements, until the roots are removed.
