13. Place the valve head on the filter
vessel.
Make sure that the notch on the valve
head and the alignment lug on the
filter vessel are lined up.
14. With the aid of a second person, place
the locking ring
head and filter vessel connecting
point.
A large amount of force needs to be applied in order to fit the locking ring.
15. Use the rubber mallet
gently along its circumference. Never use a regular hammer!
The vessel seal must slide into the groove on the bottom of the valve head, and the
valve head must lie flat on the filter vessel.
16. Insert the locking ring bolt
17. Place the screw clamp
locking ring bolt.
18. Turn the screw clamp until you can guide the locking ring bolt through the hole on
the opposite side of the locking ring.
19. Place the wing nut
tighten it.
20. Unscrew the screw clamp.
