Hold the lid (1) down until the light goes out (15 seconds max).
When the light goes out, lift the lid and carefully remove the polythene from the
sealing/cutting wire.
That's your first edge!
Pull another length forward to the desired size (30cm max) then close & hold the
lid again and press firmly until the indicator light goes out. Lift the lid and carefully
remove the bag. The opening is on the left hand side.
STEP 2 TAKE SOME AIR OUT
After putting items in the bag place the open end along the foam strip (3) –
ensuring that the vacuum nozzle (5) actually goes well into the bag opening
and that there are no creases or wrinkles that could interfere with the
sealing process. Close the lid (1) and press firmly on the right hand end only.
This activates the vacuum pump only and not the sealing/cutting wire.
Let the pump run until most of the air is removed from the bag (up to 40 seconds).
Then press both sides of the lid firmly. The vacuum pump will stop and the power indi-
cator (6) will light. Hold the lid down until the light goes out again (15 seconds max).
Lift the lid and remove your first vacuum sealed bag!
To make another bag, simply pull another length of polythene forward, then close/hold the lid to cut/seal
another edge.
