CARBEST Wireless remote control for VanHeat diesel parking heaters | 48014
Functions
The system is configured in this way: By pressing the upper button #01 [page 24
Fig. 1 (3)], the hand-held transmitter sends a signal to the receiver. The hand-
held transmitter acknowledges the button press by 1 x green flashing of the
control LED [page 24 Fig. 1 (2)]). The VanHeat heating is switched on.
By pressing the lower button #02 [page 24 Fig. 1 (4)], a signal is sent to the
receiver. The hand-held transmitter acknowledges the keystroke by 1 x green
flashing of the control LED [page 24 Fig. 1 (2)]. The VanHeat heating is switched
off.
In both cases, the receiver sends its own signal back to the hand-held transmitter
as feedback and confirmation for the received signal. The hand-held transmitter
indicates the reception by 3 times green flashing of the control LED [page 24 Fig.
1 (2)].
If the control LED flashes [page 24 Fig. 1 (2)] flashes red 5 times in response, the
hand-held transmitter is outside the range of the receiver.
The buttons must not be pressed at the same time.
Functions | Key lock
The hand-held transmitter is equipped with an automatic key lock to prevent
unintentional actuation of a function key [page 24 Fig. 1 (3+4)]; e.g. if the hand-
held transmitter is in a pocket.
Activating the key lock
Press and hold the standby key [page 24 Fig. 1 (1)] for approx. 5 seconds until
the control LED [page 24 Fig. 1 (2)] flashes green 3 times.
If the automatic key lock is activated, the hand-held transmitter must be
switched off by briefly pressing the standby key [page 24 Fig. 1 (1)] to bring it
out of sleep mode. Function key #01 and key #02 can then be used.
