Power strip with surge protection

Safety instructions
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
• Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
• Keep this user manual.
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not insert any objects into ventilation slots or connection sockets!
Voltage-free only when the plug is pulled out.
• In case of emergency, after use and during thunderstorms, pull the mains plug out of the socket
directly at the plug housing.
• Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.
Kinked connection cables increase the risk of electric shock.
• Always unwind the connection cable completely.
A defective device may not be put into operation, but must be disconnected from mains and protec-
ted against further use.
• Only use the product, product parts and accessories if they are in perfect condition.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and
mechanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, malfunctions and other problems that cannot
be solved by the accompanying documentation, contact the dealer or manufacturer.
• Let only qualified personnel perform disassembly, maintenance and repair work.
• Never use the product together with other socket strips or intermediate plugs.
• Do not use the product with wet hands.
• Do not operate the product covered.
• Do not operate in an explosive environment.
Risk of injury from tripping and falling.
• Make sure that the connection cable is laid in such a way that it does not obstruct an-yone and is
not damaged.
Do not overload the power strip.
• Observe the max. permissible load capacity in the "Specifications" chapter.
Not suitable for children. The product is not a toy!
• Secure packaging, small parts and insulating material against accidental use.

Intended use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter "Description
and Function" or in the "Safety Instructions". Use the product only in dry interior rooms.
Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents,
injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IP20: This product is protected against medium sized foreign objects, but not against water ingress.

Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
These must be identical.

Connection and operation
1. Connect your household appliances to the power strip.
2. Connect the power strip to an easily accessible grounded socket.
3. Switch on the power strip by pressing the ON/OFF switch (4).
An audible "click" sound is heard and the ON/OFF switch (4) lights up red.
The overvoltage protection is active when the overvoltage protection indicator (2) lights up.
The overvoltage protection indicator (2) lights up as soon as voltage is present.
Please note that the reset switch (3) must be pressed when the overvoltage protection has trigge-
red. Otherwise, the overvoltage protection indicator does not light up and the overvoltage protec-
tion function is not given.
4. Disconnect all cable connections after use or turn the ON/OFF switch (4) off by pressing it.
If the ON/OFF switch (4) is switched off, all earthed sockets are disconnected from the mains.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE!
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not
in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal instructions

Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be
disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from
each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and
pollute the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the
producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars
are regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging
alludes to these terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used
devices you achieve an important share to environmental protection.

Packaging
Packaging can be disposed of free of charge at the suitable collection points – paper belongs
in paper bins, plastics belong in yellow sacks and glass belongs in used glass bins.
