NOTE: When solar recharging your power station, take note of the voltages of the
solar panels and do not exceed 30V. Individual solar panels, or solar panels
chained in series more than 30V cannot be used with the power station and can
cause serious damage to the unit. We recommend using the Southwire Elite Series
100-Watt Solar Panel with this unit.

WHAT THE SOUTHWIRE ELITE 1100 SERIES CAN CHARGE
Best-Use Strategy:
When charging your device with the Elite 1100, pay attention to the LCD battery
display. If you plug in a device with a higher power requirement, the Elite 1100
battery level may drop quickly, and you may not get exactly 1166Wh of energy.
When using the AC power output, the Elite 1100 will convert the DC power from
the battery to the AC power required by your device. The Elite 1100 has an
efficient inventor however, there is still some energy loss during the conversion
process. You will not get the full rated capacity of the battery. If you are experienc-
ing shorter run times, you may want to check the power requirements of your
device. If you have any questions, please refer to TROUBLESHOOTING or contact
our customer service.
Cold Weather Usage:
Cold temperatures (below freezing) can affect the unit's battery capacity due to
chemical characteristics of the battery. If you'll be living off-grid in sub-zero
conditions, we recommend you keep your unit in an insulated cooler and
connected to a power source. The natural heat generated by the unit contained in
an insulated cooler will keep battery capacity at its highest.
