• If the pump does not turn, make sure the power cable and the modulating
signal cable are connected to the ecotronic tech controller.
• If the pump is noisy, make sure there is no air inside the circuit otherwise
repeat the commissioning operation. If necessary, increase the system
pressure to the permissible design maximum or operate the pump speed
selector, selecting a lower one or suitable for system requirements.

Install the circulation unit on a solid wall not subject to vibration.
Make sure the place of installation and the systems to which the
equipment must be connected comply with the current regulations.
Handle the unit with suitable protection and due caution. Do not
damage existing piping when drilling the wall. Empty the parts that may contain
hot water, by activating any vents, prior to handling. reinstate all the safety and
control functions involved in work on the unit and check their operation before
recommissioning.
The circulation unit is powered. Disconnect the power before any
maintenance on the pump. Do not damage existing electrical cables
when drilling the wall. Make the electrical connections with wires of
suitable section. Protect the connection cables to prevent them from
being damaged. Use suitable electrical equipment (in particular, make sure the
power cable is intact and that the parts with rotary or reciprocating motion are
properly secured), use it correctly, do not obstruct the passages with the power
cable, and prevent possible falling from above.

Connect the delivery and return pipes to the circulation unit. Prepare and
connect a suitable expansion tank according to the system design and a
discharge for the safety valve in case any heat transfer fluid comes out.
After the washing, filling, electrical connection and system checking operations,
close the circulation unit with the front casing.
system CommIssIonInG
After carrying out the pipe connections, it is advisable to clean the system to
remove any impurities. Proceed as follows:
• close the balancing valve
• connect to the filling connection and run water into the system, making it
circulate until clean water comes out the drain connection
• if water is used for this operation, drain the system via the prepared con-
nection, making sure to force the opening of the non-return valve by turning
the return valve (blue) 45° in closing
• repeat the filling operation, but this time with appropriate heat transfer fluid
(water and glycol max. 50%)
• put all the hydraulic parts of the unit in the working position and activate
the circulating pump.
• open the air vent valve on the delivery side and circulate the fluid for several
minutes, then recheck the circuit pressure: if it is lower than the required
design value, add more fluid and repeat the venting operation.
• once the system is vented, run the pump at maximum speed and adjust the
flow according to the solar collector manufacturer's instructions. The flow
rate is adjusted by means of the balancing valve and the reading on the
respective indicator or with the pump speed selector.
