Troubleshooting Table

Symptom
Unit does not turn ON.
Overtemp warning on screen.
Very weak or no GPS signals.
Display monitor is difficult to
read.
Cameras will not operate in
automatic mode.
Cannot pair Bluetooth® device. 1.
Amplifier fault warning received. 1.
Probable Cause
1.
Battery disconnect switch is off.
2.
Ignition switch is off.
3.
Fuse is blown.
1.
Exposed to direct sunlight for a long period without
ventilation.
2.
Unusually high operating temperature.
1.
Surrounded by tall buildings or structures.
2.
Vehicle is in a tunnel or parking structure.
1.
Brightness not properly adjusted.
2.
Screen setting modes incorrect.
3.
Monitor is dirty.
1.
Display not on camera screen.
2.
Lighting commands not configured correctly on
vehicle.
Phone is not compatible with system.
2.
Weak or no phone signal strength.
Amplifier not powered.

Wires shorted to amplifier.

Other fault with amplifier.
Solution
1.
Turn battery disconnect switch on.
2.
Turn ignition switch on.
3.
Replace fuse. See vehicle operator manual.

Do not park in direct sunlight without proper
ventilation in cab.
2.
Shut unit off and allow it to cool. If high temperature
continues unit will automatically shut down.
1.
Move the vehicle away from structures.
2.
System will work the best when there is an open
view to the sky. Move to where there are no
obstructions.

Adjust brightness.
2.
Change to proper mode of Auto, Day or Night.
3.
Clean monitor with a soft cloth and water.

Go to camera screen under the truck menu.
