TROUBLESHOOTING – ERROR TONE
Your Venga! robot will tell you when something is wrong with a two-tone distress sound. The
indicator will also blink or light up in red. Refer to the chart below to resolve the robot's
problem.
For some errors, rebooting the robot may resolve the problem. To reboot the robot, use the
power switch on the underside of the robot. You will hear a sound signal signifying a
successful reboot.

Note: the cliff sensors prevent the robot from tumbling downstairs and steep drops. They
may work less effectively if dirty or used on reflective/very dark-coloured floors.
Also, the cliff sensors can be triggered by strong sunlight. If light causes the robot to move
in an unusual pattern, please use the curtains to block sunlight from entering the room or
start the robot later, when the sun has gone.
LIKELY CAUSE
The front wheel is stuck
Robot's side brush is stuck
Robot's vacuum fan is
stuck or its filter is
clogged
Robot's rolling brush can't
turn
Bumper is stuck
Robot's cliff sensors are
dirty, it is hanging over a
drop edge, or it is stuck
on a dark surface
Robot cannot return to its
charging dock or starting
position

WHAT TO DO
Clean the front wheel and
press the power button to
restart the robot.
Clean the side brush and
press the power button to
restart the robot.
Remove and empty robot's
bin. Clean the robot's filter.
Then, briskly tap the bin to
loosen any remaining
trapped debris.
Remove and clean the
robot's rolling brush
and caps.
Check whether the bumper
is flexible.
If the robot is hanging over
a drop edge, or is placed
on a dark surface, start it in
a new location. Otherwise,
wipe its cliff sensors with a
dry cloth.
Ensure there are no
obstacles in front of the
charging dock or starting
position. Wipe the charging
contacts on both the
charging dock and robot
with a clean, dry cloth.
