• Under no circumstances should a defective machine or sockets/accessories be used
as this may cause injury and material loss.
• The plastic plug should be taken out of the air inlet opening (Pos.4) and an insertable
hose connection with 1/4" external thread should be used.
• During fitting or removal of impact sockets and accessories, the machine must
always be disconnected from the compressed air supply. It will help to ensure that
the machine does not accidentally start when changing sockets/accessories.
• Before starting the machine ensure that any impact sockets or accessories are
correctly secured on the square drive (Pos.1). Only good quality impact sockets and
accessories should be used with this machine, the use of sockets and accessories
designed for hand operation is dangerous. After fitting of the socket or accessory
the machine must not be operated in idle running directed away from the working
material. The socket/accessory may come loose from the machine which may cause
injury or material loss.
• Check air pressure and, if necessary, adjust it so that the machine can operate at the
required pressure and torque. Adjustment of the pressure is performed by use of the
compressor or separately installed pressure regulator and adjustment of the torque is
performed by use of a separate air supply regulator (not included). Specification of
the machine complies with a 6.2 bar pressure.
• Always adjust the air outlet ring (Pos.2) so the cold air and loose particles avoid
hitting the body.
• Adjust the speed to the task by the speed regulator (Pos.6). Set mode affects both
tightening and loosening power.
• Always be careful when using the machine. Misuse and abuse of the machine may
cause damage to the internal parts and housing. It may result in a reduction of
efficiency and the machine may loose its value.
