Rotating the balcony blind
(see figure L)
1. Loosen the knob 5 by turning it anti-
clockwise.
2. Rotate the upper pole 4 in the bottom
pole 2 to the desired position.
3. Tighten the knob 5 by turning it clock-
wise.
Taking down the balcony
blind
Please note!
– The balcony blind must be taken down
and into your apartment in the event of
incoming wind, rain or snow. Damag-
es occurring as the result of failure to
do so are excluded from the warranty.
1. Tilt the lateral brace 3 until it is in a
vertical position and pivot it so that its
longitudinal side is parallel to the up-
per pole 4, as described in the sec-
tion "Moving, tilting or pivoting the lat-
eral brace".
2. Flip the locking mechanism lever 12
and remove the balcony blind 1 from
the holders 11 and 9 (see figure E
and F).
3. Roll up the balcony blind 1, if appli-
cable.
4. Take the balcony blind 1 into your
apartment or store it on the balcony so
that the wind can not reach under it.

Cleaning the cover

Please note!
– The fabric is suitable for hand wash-
ing at 40 °C. The cover is not suitable
for machine washing!
– Do not use a tumble-dryer.
– Do not iron.
– Do not use aggressive chemical clean-
ing agents or fluids, solvents, abra-
sive substances or objects, bleach-
ing agents, high-pressure cleaners or
strong cleaning products.
– Comply with the manufacturer's dos-
ing, application and reaction instruc-
tions.
Remove the reinforcing braces 8 and 10
for best results.
1. Open the hook and loop fasteners 21
on the narrow sides of the balcony
blind 1 and pull the reinforcing brac-
es 8 and 10 out of the pockets 22 (see
figure P).
2. Hand wash the blind cover at no more
than 40 °C (see figure Q).
3. After washing, reinsert the reinforcing
braces 8 and 10 in the pockets 22.
4. Close the hook and loop fasteners 21
on the narrow sides of the balcony
blind 1.
5. Mount the balcony blind as described
in the section "Mounting the balcony
blind" and let it dry in an open state
(see figure R).
Care + storage
Maintaining the frame
Clean the upper pole 4, the bottom pole 2
and the lateral brace 3 regularly, to en-
sure that the mobile parts slide properly.
If necessary, spray them with a silicon or
Teflon lubricant spray.
• Check all load-bearing parts such as
braces, screws etc. regularly.
• Check the upper pole and the later-
al brace regularly for rust spots and
touch them up if necessary. Use on-
ly a small amount of soap solution for
cleaning.
