Battery Charge
Important: The battery must be fully charged before using the bike for
the first time.

Charge of battery can be made directly with the battery on
the bike or extraction from it. To remove the battery, use the
key to open the safe position in the bottom of the battery and
remove it.
Use only the charger supplied by Ecobike

Connect the battery to the charger making sure that the
-
charger output connector is firmly connected to the battery.
-
Then connect the charger to the stream. Notice that the
charger LED indicator lights up in red when the battery needs
charging and green when the battery does not need charge
or has completed loading.
When the battery is fully charged, make the above procedure
-
in reverse. Unplug the charger from the network ...
-
In case of malfunctions in the charging process, check the
battery fuse next to the charging connector.

Charge the battery completely during 8h. the first 3 times in
order to "wake up" the battery.
We recommend a full charge of battery after riding when less
-
than 3 leds are on.
DO NOT charge the battery for more than 8 hours

The battery must NEVER be fully discharged!
Use of charger:
-
Do not put anything on the charger.
Do not manipulate the charger.

Do not plug with wet hands or touch the charger during storms.

Use only the charger supplied by Ecobike.
-
Do not use the charger in unstable, dirty or too wet area.
-

Avoid direct sunlight and maintain ventilation.
-
Unplug the charger when it is not in use.

Precautions in the use of battery:
Never short the battery terminals.
- Never charge the battery terminals for unloading.
- Keep away from excessive heat.
- Never immerse in water.
- Avoid impacts or strong vibrations.
- Keep away from children.
- Be sure to disconnect the battery when remove or when it is not in use.
- Never take the battery to pieces.
- Any doubt, contact your supplier.
Storage, handling and transportation of the battery and
charger:

The battery should be stored in a clean, dry and ventilated spot,
avoiding contact with corrosive elements and high temperature.
If the battery needs to be stored for a long period, we
-
recommend a 100% load level. Due to its natural discharge it
must be recharged every 2-3 months as to prevent the load is
below 70%. Beyond this it could damage the battery.
Must be protected against impacts or strong vibrations .

The charger should be disconnected completely during
storage. The charger should be stored and transported under
the same conditions as the battery.
The lithium-polymer batteries have no memory effect. Keep
-
your battery charged!!!
If the battery is stored for 1 month or more, we recommend fully
-
charged before use.
