B1 KIT FACILE INSTALLATION

B1.1 Before the installation
This guidelines ensure your safety. Please read them completely and carefully before installation
and keep them in a safe place.
Warning! Before the equipment installation please verify that the water supplied to the
equipment fulfils the requirements of European drinking water directives (Directive 98/83/CE).
Check for the compliance of the hydraulic distribution system and the installation of the filter to local
regulations. The manufacturer disclaims all responsibility for damage to persons or things caused
by improper installation of the filter and/or the installation of the filter in a waterworks not compliant
with local regulations. KIT FACILE is not equipped, by standard, with any flooding-control system or
other devices able to detect, control or alarm in case of runaway water losses. In case, consider,
apart, an adequate anti flooding device.
Do not install KIT FACILE downstream of boilers or in devices involving the transit, inside the filter,
of water at higher than 30°C temperature.
B1.2 Requirements for the place of installation
KIT FACILE must be installed indoor, in an hygienically suitable place, dry and clean, protected from
frost, exposure to sunlight, moisture, atmospheric agent (rain, snow and hail). Do not install KIT
FACILE in wells, near drains, or in smelly places. Do not install where any kind of chemical vapours
or gas and fumes may be present. Avoid installation in tight spaces which cannot allow easy ordinary
and extraordinary maintenance In succession the limit values of the allowed environmental
parameters for the KIT FACILE installation:
Ambient temperature (min./max.), °C: 5 – 40
Warning! Make sure that hydraulic system be hygienically safe and does not present risks
of bacterial growth (for example dead branches, sourceso of bacterial prolification...).
B1.3 In case of installation of KIT FACILE with a water softener
If KIT FACILE is installed with a water softener equipped with a mixing valve (e.g. BravoCAB) you
MUST set the water hardness using the mixing valve of the water softner closing completely the
mixing valve installed on KIT FACILE (turn the hardness mixing valve in the direction "-" until it stops).
To check water hardness use the Acqua Brevetti kit test for hardness (cod. 48105001) sampling
water upstream and downstream of the water softener. If KIT FACILE is equipped with sampling
taps use them for the water hardness check.
B1.4 Installation of sampling taps (not included with KIT FACILE)
The standard endowement of KIT FACILE does not include the sampling taps (N°2) but two ½"
stoppers. If you want to install the sampling taps replace the stoppers.
B1.5 Hydraulic checks after installation
After opening water upstream of the equipment check for leaks.
Verify for the proper installation in order to facilitate maintenance.
