ment, just pull off the old ones and snap-in the new ones. To order new ear cushions please see information about the
hygiene kit.
6. The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the earmuffs.
7. Before and after usage, store in a dry place. The temperature should not exceed +55°C (130°F).
8. The product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from
the manufacturer.
9. The earmuff is provided with electronic restoration of surrounding sound. The wearer should check for correct
operation before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer should refer to the manufacturer's advice for
maintenance and replacement of the batteries.
10. WARNING – performance may deteriorate with battery usage.
11. The output signal of the sound restoration circuit of this hearing protector does not exceed the values known to
constitute a risk to hearing.
12. WARNING – for lower external levels, the sound level under the earmuff can exceed the external level
(amplification).
13. For the estimation of the effective attenuation of this earmuff, the additional noise emission by the sound
amplification should be taken into account. The estimated A-weighed noise level under the earmuff in passive mode
should not be greater than 82 dB(A).
14. The microphones' wind protector, which eliminates wind noise etc., should be kept clean and changed when necessary.
15. If the above mentioned recommendations are not followed, the protection and function afforded by the earmuffs
may be severely impaired.
IF PRODUCT ENCLOSURES ARE OPENED THEN IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THE PRODUCT WILL FUNCTION AS INTENDED.

NRR 21dB
The level of noise entering a person's ear, when hearing protection is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the
difference between the A-weighted environmental level and the NRR.
Example:
1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBA.
2. The NRR is 21 decibels (dB).
3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to 71 dBA.
WARNING: For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500Hz the C-weighted environmental noise level
should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the instructions for
proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise,
the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of
the protection attained against impulsive noise such as gunfire. Constant or repetitive exposure to impulsive noise may lead
to serious injury, temporary or permanent deafness. The noise reduction rating (NRR) calculated from the attenuation data
is 21 dB. Earmuffs must be properly fitted to attenuate noise effectively. Refer to instructions.

to safe levels, and provides good hearing protection. Loud impulse sounds are effectively blocked out and limited to
safe levels. The unique stereo microphones allow detection of the direction of ambient sounds, enhancing
communication abilities and awareness of surroundings. This earmuff is provided with electrical audio input.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pull the cups outward and position so that the cushions fully enclose the ears and seal tightly against the head.
2. Adjust the height of each cup equally on both sides while holding headband on crown of head creating a snug and
comfortable fit.
3. With earmuffs over both ears while in a noisy environment, push cushions towards head. If there is not a
perceptible difference in the noise level, earmuffs are probably not fitted properly. If proper fit is not obtained,
repeat fitting instructions.
CAUTION: Noise reduction is adversely affected by anything that impairs the seal of the earmuff
cushions.
WARNING: Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness and could result in hearing loss or injury.
IMPORTANT USER INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The earmuffs should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the instructions.
2. The earmuffs should be worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
3. The earmuffs should be regularly inspected for serviceability.
4. The earmuffs should be cleaned and disinfected with soap and warm water. They must not be dipped into water.
5. Earmuffs, and in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for
signs of wear, for example: cracking or sound leakage. Replacement cushions are available. For cushion replace-
