Operation
1. Prepare recipe according to instructions.
2. Place food into the ceramic insert (Figure 2) and cover with glass lid
(Figure 3).
For best results, do not over-fill the ceramic insert. Ceramic insert should be
at least half-filled. When cooking soups or stews, allow a 2-inch space between
the food and the top of the ceramic insert, to allow ingredients to simmer.
WARNING: The ceramic insert CANNOT withstand the shock of sudden temperature
changes. If the pot is hot, DO NOT add cold food. Before cooking frozen food,
add some warm liquid.
3. When cooking a meat and vegetable combination, place the vegetables
in the bottom of the ceramic insert first. Then add the meat and other
ingredients.
NOTE: When cooking on HIGH, keep checking progress in case foods come to boil.
Remember that frequent lifting of the lid during cooking delays the cook time.
4. Plug cord into a 120V AC outlet. A tone will sound, the control panel
will illuminate for 1 second. The
pulse slowly on and off.
5. Press

(High,Low or Warm) or preset CYCLE (Meat, Poultry, Stew, Soup, or Chili)
